CASA volunteers are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education (CE) related to the work of best-interest advocacy per year.

To encourage a varied learning experience, no more than four (4) hours of continuing education should be completed through self-study, such as by reading books or watching relevant films.

It is essential that you log your hours for any continuing education you complete through self study. In Optima, please enter the date of the self study, a brief description of what you read or watched, and what you learned relevant to your role as a CASA.
